At VigyanShaala, we equip youth with quality STEM skills through project-based learning to enable social and transformational change. Our goal is to facilitate the creation of innovative, youth lead ecosystems for mentoring and STEM skilling at the community level.

Kalpana

Kalpana meaning “Imagination” reimagines STEM fields with enhanced participation women by equipping female under graduates with tools to explore broader possibilities in STEM careers.  Kalpana envisions to create a self-sustaining and uplifting community of women in STEM, where underrepresented young girls find relatable mentors to guide them in their scientific quest and facilitate in breaking traditional access barriers.  Click Here to register as a Mentor

For Students the Registration Closes on 20th April due to large outpouring of applications. The Application Form 1 Link is provided Below:
1. Filling out First Application Form Deadline – 20th April
2. Selected Students sent email by 21st April to answer questions for the next round

3.Final Selected Candidates Notified on 28th April : By Email

4. Students confirm their participation and Register in the Microsoft Teams Platform in VigyanShaala by April 30.

5. Mentor Interaction starts with May 01/May 02. With Welcome Talk.

Mentor Requirements for Kalpana Fellowship

:

 

  1. Enthusiastic professionals who understand the need for promoting women in STEM Careers
  2. -> 1 Mentor mentors 10 fellows
    -> 2-hours/week video training to Mentees
    -> Part of a WhatsApp/Microsoft Teams Group
    -> Evaluate Assignments and provide feedback
  3.  8 Weeks – Next Batch starting on 2 May 2021
  4. Each mentor trained 1 week before launch
  5.  Modules on:
    Personal Development Tools
    Career Action Plan
    Communication/Articulation
    Learning the Scientific Method
    Professional Development Tools
